Year 200 in 2025 - Celebration of the Irish People of Central PEI

To celbrate the BIS 200-year anniversary, the Benevolent Irish Society of PEI will host this special event at the Emyvale Community Hall. The reason the BIS is hosting this free event is to acknowledge the contribition of the Irish people in Central PEI who contributed so much to the well-being and prosperity of PEI since the late 1700s. This is a free event, first come first serve for 100 people. We are asking that attendees sign up so that we can prepare enough refreshments. Fullertons Marsh will be performing. Frank McQuaid, Willie Arsenault and Randy Dibblee will delight the audience with their unique mixture of Maritime, Celtic and Old Time numbers.
