About the event
To celbrate the BIS 200-year anniversary, the Benevolent Irish Society of PEI will host this special event at the Emyvale Community Hall. The reason the BIS is hosting this free event is to acknowledge the contribition of the Irish people in Central PEI who contributed so much to the well-being and prosperity of PEI since the late 1700s. This is a free event, first come first serve for 120 people. We are asking that attendees sign up so that we can prepare enough refreshments. Breakwater Band with Taylor Johnston, Dan MacAuley and Ward MacDonald will be the performers. Taylor plays guitar and Mandolin and sings wonderful seas shantys. Dan plays guitar and sings and Ward MacDonald plays an amazing fiddle.
