About the event
Fascinating Ladies of Country is a celebratory musical revue, featuring music from some of the most iconic and influential female country artists of the last century to present day. The show also highlights the women’s liberation movement and the way these artists expressed themselves to help empower women around the world. Some of the songs featured include 9 to 5, Delta Dawn, Fancy, D.I.V.O.R.C.E, Any Man of Mine and Miss Chatelaine.
Fascinating Ladies of Country is compiled and created by Brielle Ansems and Catherine O’Brien with musical direction and arrangements by Brielle Ansems. The cast features talented PEI artists Olivia Blacquiere, Stephanie Ross and Haley Zavo.
One of the shows is hosted by us, the Benevolent Irish Society, on Saturday, April 4 at 14:30 - 16:30 at our Irish Cultural Centre in Charlottetown.
