September 18 - Ceilidh at the Irish Hall on September 18th with Fiddler’s Sons’ Eddy Quinn, John B. Webster, Keelin Wedge and with Fiona MacCorquodale (fiddle), and step dancer Janelle Banks.

 

Eddy, the lead vocalist who also plays guitar and bodhran, has released two solo albums and received four PEI Music Awards. In 2017, the band celebrated twenty years in the music business with a compilation album, Fiddlers' Sons: The Best of Twenty Years, featuring 22 popular songs about Island life and its people.


John B. Webster, the group's lead guitarist and backup vocalist, grew up on Station Road in Cardigan. With a musical heritage, his father Jackie was a fiddle player, and his grandfather Jack led "Jack Webster’s Orchestra" in Kings County. John met Eddy Quinn at guitar lessons in Lorne Valley, and has contributed significantly to the band's five CDs over the years.
