About the event
June 12 - Features popular island music group Tip 'er Back with Clive Currie, Allan Betts, and Wade Murray with singer Darlene Bradley. Allison Giggey will be the guest fiddler. Grace Sulis-Chaisson and Lillianna Bradley will be the step dancers.
The group plays a mix of maritime favourites, traditional Gaelic, country, and also some original music. Betts, Currie and Murray were members of Kickin’ Country, the popular dance band that played at many dance halls on P.E.I.
Allan Betts is a singer, songwriter. Who has penned several songs including the song “and I Owe Life to You”, sung by many musicians, including PEI’s own Dino Dunsford. Clive Currie yodels and he is very good at it. We hope to convince him to give us a tune with yodeling in it during the evening. Wade Murray plays Bass and Darlene Bradley complements the singing.
Allison Ling Giggey has been entertaining crowds across P.E.I., Canada,…
