August 14 - Join us at the Katherine Hughes Memorial Hall in the Irish Cultural Centre for a Ceilidh featuring the Chaisson Trio: Louise Chaisson MacKinnon, Kevin Chaisson and Sheila MacKenzie on FIddle. Gerard Beaton will be step dancing.
Enjoy a night of traditional Scottish and Irish jigs, reels, strathspeys, slow airs, and ballads. Kevin Chaisson brings his expertise on the keyboard, with deep roots in PEI's traditional music. Louise Chaisson MacKinnon, with her melodic voice, adds beautiful vocals to the mix.
Sheila MacKenzie is a very experienced fiddler and she will have your toes tapping as soon as she starts a jig or a reel. Sheila has played many times on the BIS stage.
