About the event

To celebrate the BIS 200 year anniversary the Benevolent Irish Society has created this special Historic Irish Walking Tour of Charlottetown. The spectacular brochure that accompanies the tour features many buildings in the downtown core of Charlottetown that were built by Irish Immigrants in the time when PEI was starting to be settled. The tour starts at the Irish Settlers Monument on the waterfront by the Armory (3 Haviland Street) and it it takes 1.5 to 2 hours to complete. It is not a taxing walk but it may not be appropriate for individuals with very limited mobility as it moves at a good pace.

BIS Member Clare Martin will be your Tour Guide.
