The Benevolent Irish Society 2024 Ceilidh Continues on Friday, September 20th at the Irish Cultural Centre, 582 North River Road, featuring award winning island folk music group Fiddler’s Sons, featuring Eddy Quinn, John B. Webster with fiddler Fiona MacCorquodale.
Doors open at 7, show starts at 8. Tickets are $20, Members $18, Children under 12 $5. Advance tickets are available on the website or at the door. The hall is air conditioned, licensed and has an elevator. A complimentary lunch and tea is served at intermission and there’s a 50/50 draw.
Eddy, the lead vocalist who also plays guitar and bodhran, has released two solo albums and received four PEI Music Awards. In 2017, the band celebrated twenty years in the music business with a compilation album, Fiddlers' Sons: The Best of Twenty Years, featuring 22 popular songs about Island life and its people.
