August 8, 9, 10 (Friday , Saturday and Sunday) from 12:00 – 5:00 pm at the Irish Hall at 582 North River Road, the Society will be hosting a Celtic Heritage Fair inside the hall and in the parking lot.

 

Among the many activities, there will be fiddle music, step dancing, traditional Irish baking and a prize spinning wheel for the kids outside.  

 

Inside the Hall there will be set dancing and many demonstrations of traditional Irish crafts, such as Cluny lace and Celtic applique, also Irish Story telling,  Ancestry Overview, etc.   Many local authors will be selling their books as well as giving a reading down in the BIS library.   

 

This is not an event to be missed.  Bring the whole family. 

 

Parking will be at Home Depot or at Murphy’s Pharmacies just down the street.  There is no parking at the Irish Hall.
